Excellent Stay for Motorcyclists
secure parking route advice
The hotel provides secure locked parking behind the building, a definite plus! The family running the hotel offered helpful advice regarding routes. I appreciated their knowledge and willingness to share local insights. This made planning my rides easy and efficient, a huge benefit for a solo traveler.
The toilet paper dispenser in my room dispensed only one sheet at a time, which I found inconvenient. This minor issue detracted slightly from an otherwise excellent experience.

The room included single-use plastic cups and a functional toilet paper dispenser. It had limited natural light due to its location. The windows offered limited visibility. The space was clean. This helped ensure a comfortable stay.

The staff were great. They quickly allocated prebooked bike sheds for a party of three bikers. Staff offered superb service and advice on local attractions.

The bar has local beers and ales. It provides a comfortable area to relax. There is also a briefing room with maps. This helps plan routes and see things. The food quality was excellent.

Okay Stay with Some Issues
noisy boiler limited view
My room felt a bit stuffy because I couldn't open the windows. The view was non-existent from my basement room. The heating boiler made noise outside the window which bothered me. The noise made sleeping difficult.

Excellent Stay at Family-Run Hotel
cycle route helpful staff
The staff were very helpful. Dave offered me a cycling route. I saw a golden eagle during this route. The hotel provides excellent facilities for cycles.
The room had single use plastic cups. The toilet paper dispenser gives out a single sheet at a time. I think improvements can be made here.

The hotel stands in a central location. It allows easy exploration of the surrounding areas. Parking is available across the street. This makes access convenient arriving by car.

covered window natural light
Breakfast had so much choice the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was quite dark I think there was not much natural light because the window was partially covered I found this disappointing
